Electronics Retailer of the Year

Great news! Nav-e-gate4less have won another award. This time we have been awarded Electronics Retailer of the Year through Scotland Prestige. We are delighted to receive this award. It just goes to show that all our hard work in delivering good customer service pays off in the end.

Below is a clip of the email that we received.

“Hi there,

I have tried to contact you in regards to this year’s Prestige Awards, as a past winner you had been automatically reconsidered, the judges have been working hard in the background and the final results have been available for some time. With this year’s awards coming close to the deadline, I thought it best to email the details before you lose the chance to be involved.

The administration team had considered yourselves for the category of Electronics Retailer of the Year. It was actually some great news, I’m really pleased to confirm that you have been chosen as the 2023/24 winner, Congratulations!.”

Scotland Prestige Award Winner

We were nominated for a award in April 2022. We almost missed the email as it originally came into our spam box. But once communication was established, and all the forms were filled in and returned, we heard back fairly quickly about the nomination.

Then out of the blue, came a phone call, with the news that we had won the award, which came as a complete surprise.

We were delighted to receive the news. May this be the first of many more similar awards in the future.

Many thanks to all those who nominated us. We appreciate the support. Also thanks to all our suppliers and clients who continue to support us. When we won this award, it made everyone at Nav-e-gate4less very excited and pleased. It shows that if you work hard with your product selection and customer support, the effort will pay off.

Winner – The Scottish Enterprise Awards

We were nominated for this award in early 2019 and had a long wait to hear the result. But the wait was worth it. We were delighted to hear that we were a winner. It just proves that if you work hard at something, you will become successful.

2019 Transport Awards

We are delighted to announce that Nav-e-gate4less won in The 2019 Transport Awards through Small Medium Enterprise News. Nominations happened earlier in the year and had a long wait to hear the result. Our award was in the “Ones to Watch in Tech 2019” category.

The nominations comprised of many different businesses and companies, from a large number of sectors. We were delighted to hear that we had won this award.  

Many thanks to all those who nominated us and for all our suppliers and customers who continue to support us. It just goes to show that if you put the effort in, success will follow. We hope that this will be the first of many more awards in the future.

eTrex USB Data cables GPS used by The National Trust in Wales

Our GPS Data Cables are being used by The National Trust in Wales to help with a Major Project. The product they used were the eTrex USB Data Cables.

Trystan Edwards of the National Trust said that they have a number of Garmin devices which are given to contractors to record work up on an important moor in Snowdonia. So our GPS cables will be well used. He also said

“Across about 13000 acres of deep peat moor, important as a carbon store, contractors have been blocking man made ditches from the 19th Century and 1960s-1980s. It’s been a big job spanning 5 years.
Every peat dam has been recorded, and they are normally about 10m apart, such that we have thousands of them across the moor, called Y Migneint.
All the dam records have been downloaded from the devices using your cables. Moving forward, the work that has been completed will allow us to develop a more integrated approach to managing the upper Conwy catchment.”

Ross Henderson, Owner of Nav-e-gate4less, said “I am delighted to hear of this project and that we were able to assist with our GPS Data Cables. The majority of our sales are to individuals and we don’t often hear of what it is that our cables are being used for. This was very interesting application of one of our products. It also shows that we offer high quality products and accordingly, a customer service to match.”
